Sparkling Fabric & Fairy Lights

Paula’s client has a son who had outgrown his bedroom furniture and juvenile style. He wanted a larger bed with a canopy and fairy lights. He also requested a sofa for entertaining. He loves color and wanted to incorporate his existing K-Pop posters into the space. The hammered metal canopy bed with sparkling fabric and fairy lights set the tone for this updated, dramatic bedroom. Vibrant pink pillows and a vivid teal sofa bring color throughout the room.

Project Overview:

Selecting a color palette was our first priority using his favorite colors of bright pink and vivid teal on the feature wall and continuing the color in the euro shams and sofa. The queen sized hammered metal canopy bed set the stage for the shimmering fabric of the canopy and remote controlled fairy lights.

The bedding was finished with a bright white duvet cover. Paula had the existing posters framed to match the metal bed and created a gallery wall. The large sofa was upholstered in a performance fabric for long use, and the bolsters continued the pop of bright color with the fun herringbone design.
